Alexander McQueen was born March, 17 1969 in the east end of London, his full name is Lee Alexander McQueen. Alexander McQueen started making dresses for his three sisters and announced his intention of becoming a fashion designer, then the dreams come true.

At 16 years old, Alexander McQueen landing an apprenticeship with Savile Row tailors and Anderson & Sheppard, then working for Gieves & Hawkes and the famous theatrical costumiers Angels and Bermans. Isabella Blow have persuaded him, to change his name from Lee to Alexander when he subsequently launched his fashion career.

Alexander McQueen developed his reputation for controversy and shock tactics with the the title l’enfant terrible and the hooligan of English Fashion with trousers apply named “bumsters” and a collection entitled “Highland Rape” into early runway.
